In the course of my Internet explorations this week I have found another site that looks to be promising. The site is snowleotards.com, and they seem to have a fair selection of girls’ gymnastics leotards. Not only do they carry leotards, but they also carry gymnsatics equipment and apparel.

The information I was able to find on the site indicated that not only are their leotards reasonably priced, but they also have sale items that are below fair market value.

This is a hot topic…and understandably so. Leotards can be very expensive, and for families on a tight budget $80 for a workout outfit may be out of the question. In my recent travels across the Internet I have managed to find another site that offers inexpensive girls gymnastics leotards. The site is www.ave99.com and it looks like it contains links to other sites that have good deals on gymnastics leotards.

When I visited the site this evening, they had a link to a site that was offering inexpensive name brand girls gymnastics leotards for 30% off. That’s a pretty good discount. Hope this helps.

Another site I have found is http://www.gymbratleotards.com. They have a decent selection of inexpensive girls gymnastics leotards, all for reasonable prices.

I also am a big fan of used gymnastics leotards. I know there are some of you out there that have no desire to send your daughters to gymnastics practice in a used leotard, and if you are willing and able to spend the $50 to $75 for new leos that’s cool. However, my years of gymnastics coaching have taught me that not everyone who looks at this page will be in that group. There are lots of families out there who have tight budgets and are looking for inexpensive gymnastics for their kids to wear while attending practice. Remember, just because a leotard is inexpensive, does not mean that it is a cheap gymnastics leotard.

One of the best avenues I have found for used leotards is eBay.com. Those of you that have been parents for a while (I have eight children) realize that kids out grow stuff quickly. As a result, there is typically a pretty good inventory of used leotards available on their site. Additionally, I have found that second hand clothing stores can provide some excellent finds as well.

Gymnastics Leotards by Danskin and Alpha Factor

In an earlier post I wrote about one of the companies I dealt with as a gymnastics center owner (see article – Let’s Talk About New Leotards) . GK is not the only manufacturer of gymnastics leotards in the industry. Two of the other main players are Danskin and Alpha Factor. Both of these companies turn out a high quality product that is both durable and well suited to the sport. Additionally, both of these companies (and GK as well) offer a full line of competitive apparel for gymnasts to use during their competitive season…to include warm-ups. Again, the gymnastics leotards and accompanying outfits are not cheap, but they do last and are visually appealing.

Danskin has been in the clothing business since 1882…talk about a proven track record! They offer a full line of clothing to compliment their sports lines. Also, in addition to the gymnastics leotards and outfits, they offer a full line of dance clothing.

AlphaFactor has been around for a considerable amount of time as well and strives to offer its customers cutting edge technology. They have a site where gymnasts and coaches can login and they also have a site where coaches can login and put together designs for the teams newest gymnastics leotard.

Now tell your kids to get out there and stick it!

Used Gymnastics Leotards

I have to tell you, this is one option that always makes sense. I know there are some of you out there that have no desire to send your daughters to gymnastics practice in a used leotard, and if you are willing and able to spend the $50 to $75 for new leos that’s cool. There are lots of families out there who have tight budgets and are looking for inexpensive attire for their kids to wear while attending practice.

The fact that these outfits are only used for a short period of time each day means they typically receive very little wear and tear, and will last for many practices to come.
